Naples

I’m leaving. I will not forget neither via Toledo, nor all the other districts in Naples; in my eyes is, beyond comparison, the most beautiful city in the universe.

Stendhal

Naples offers you its big and warm heart, bright colours, familiar gestures, music through the alleyways and many secrets to discover.
Goethe said “See Naples and then die” to celebrate the beauty of the city and its people. A beauty that has to be savoured little by little. Day after day, week after week.

Once capital of the Kingdom of Naples, then of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, it is home to the most ancient Universities in the world.
This explains the reason why Naples has covered a predominant and distinguished role since the Classic Age and has given birth to unique and original pictorial and architectural movements such as the renaissance, the baroque and the Neapolitan art nouveau, the caravaggism, the school of Posillipo, as well to minor arts as the Capodimonte porcelain and the Neapolitan crib.
Therefore, it is quite obvious that in 1995 its historic centre was recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage site, for its monuments that witness the succession of Mediterranean and European cultures.

Not to mention the peculiarities connected to drama, songs and food as part of its culture, with its products that have become global icons and have made Naples famous all over the world, its pizza above all, declared an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO.

You absolutely can’t leave without...
  • eating pizza made with your own hands, with a master pizza chef, in the heart of Naples between the market stalls and the fishmongers;
  • diving into the heart of its culture. Marvel at ancient treasures in the National Archaeological Museum; stand spellbound before the Veiled Christ at San Severo Chapel Museum; stroll through the lush paths of the Capodimonte Museum;
  • discovering Naples following its coffee aroma, which is not only a drink but also an occasion of gathering in its many bars;
  • catching some food excellences (such as the Gragnano pasta, the buffalo mozzarella, the provolone del monaco) and stories that envelop them with a particular beauty, that make this land unique, from Naples to the Amalfi Coast passing by the Vesuvius.

And if it’s not enough, we are ready to create an itinerary to Naples that satisfies personal passions, ideas and needs.
